Role Overview
As a Module Lead – Frontend, you will drive frontend architecture and lead development efforts, with React as the core technology while supporting and maintaining a legacy AngularJS-based hybrid system across projects.
What You’ll Do
- Lead development of scalable, high-performance web applications using React (primary framework)
- Maintain, enhance, and support legacy AngularJS components within a hybrid architecture
- Work on AngularJS ↔ React integration, including event-based communication and shared services
- Own end-to-end delivery of frontend modules including design, development, and deployment
- Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Backend, QA, Product, Clients)
- Build reusable components and maintain scalable frontend architecture
- Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and scalability
- Ensure UI/UX consistency and adherence to design standards across both legacy and modern systems
Your Qualifications
Technical Skills
- 5–8 years of frontend development experience
- Strong expertise in React (mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with AngularJS or similar legacy frameworks (important)
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Tailwind
- Experience with state management and modern component-based architecture
- Understanding of event-driven systems (important for AngularJS ↔ React bridge)
- Strong understanding of REST API integration
- Experience with Git/version control
- Good understanding of frontend architecture and performance optimization
AI & Development Practices
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools
- Ability to write effective prompts for code generation, debugging, and architecture guidance
- Understanding of best practices for using AI in development workflows (e.g., validation of generated code, maintaining code quality, avoiding over-reliance)
- Experience leveraging AI tools for:
- code reviews
- refactoring suggestions
- test case generation
- documentation
Good to Have
- Experience in migrating applications from AngularJS to React
- Experience working with hybrid frontend architectures (legacy + modern)
- Familiarity with authentication flows (cookies, session-based auth)
- Experience in large-scale enterprise applications
