We’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our Engineering team.

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Playwright with JavaScript and API testing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing and implementing automation frameworks, executing end-to-end tests, and improving overall product quality. A proactive mindset and strong problem-solving abilities are essential to succeed in this role.


What you’ll do

3–6 years of experience in software quality assurance and automation testing.
Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
Automate UI and end-to-end test scenarios for web applications.
Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or automated scripts.
Develop and maintain automated regression test suites.
Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.
Identify, report, and track defects through their lifecycle.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure high product quality.
Participate in test planning, test design, and test execution.
Contribute to performance testing using tools such as k6, JMeter, or similar.
Take initiative to improve test coverage, automation frameworks, and quality processes.

Your qualifications

Technical

Strong experience with Playwright automation using JavaScript/TypeScript.
Solid understanding of API testing concepts (REST APIs).
Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks and test design patterns.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
Experience using test management and defect tracking tools like Jira.
Exposure to performance testing tools such as k6, JMeter, or similar is a plus.
Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber is a plus.
