We are seeking an experienced AEM Architect with 12–15 years of overall experience, including 8–10 years of hands-on expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.5 / AEM as a Cloud Service). The ideal candidate should have strong Java/J2EE architecture and development expertise and deep knowledge of AEM platform capabilities including Edge Delivery Services, Headless implementations, Core Components, and enterprise content architecture. The role requires designing scalable, secure, and high-performance AEM solutions for large enterprise environments. Proficiency in JCR, Sling, OSGi, REST/GraphQL APIs, and modern front-end frameworks is essential. Experience with Adobe Marketing Cloud integrations, CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and enterprise-scale multilingual implementations is highly valued. Exposure to CCMS implementations using AEM Guides and DITA, along with experience in solution architecture, technical governance, pre-sales support, and proposal creation, will be a strong advantage.
What you’ll do
• Define Solution Architecture: Design end-to-end architecture for AEM-based platforms including AEM 6.5 and AEM as a Cloud Service, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Architect Enterprise Implementations: Lead architecture for large-scale enterprise digital experience platforms including multi-site, multilingual, and multi-brand implementations.
• Lead Technical Strategy: Define best practices, architecture patterns, and development standards across AEM implementations.
• Integrate Adobe Ecosystem: Architect integrations with Adobe Marketing Cloud products including Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics, Target, Launch, and Adobe I/O.
• Guide Engineering Teams: Provide architectural guidance to development teams, perform design reviews, and ensure adherence to architecture standards.
• Drive Performance and Optimization: Evaluate system performance, caching strategies, dispatcher configuration, and optimization of AEM applications.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, UX teams, DevOps, and engineering teams to deliver enterprise-grade digital solutions.
Your qualifications
Technical
- 8–10 years of experience in designing and implementing Adobe AEM 6.5 / AEMaaCS solutions in large-scale enterprise environments.
- 10–15 years of strong experience in Java / J2EE architecture and development.
- Strong expertise in AEM architecture including Edge Delivery Services (EDS), Templates, Core Components, Experience Fragments, Content Fragments, Style System, Dialogs, Policies, and Headless implementations.
- Deep knowledge and experience with JCR, Apache Sling, Apache Felix, OSGi, REST / GraphQL APIs, Groovy, JSON, SPA frameworks, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience designing Headless CMS architectures using AEM Content Fragments and GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with Adobe Marketing Cloud ecosystem including Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), Adobe Target, Adobe Launch, and Adobe I/O integrations.
- Experience designing and implementing large multilingual, multinational enterprise digital platforms using Adobe AEM.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and build tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Hudson, and automated testing frameworks.
- Experience designing AEM Dispatcher caching strategies, CDN integrations, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Search implementation and integration (Solr, Elasticsearch, or Adobe Search capabilities).
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native AEM deployments and Adobe Cloud Manager.
- Experience with open-source frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and microservices-based architectures.
- Exposure to CCMS implementations using AEM Guides, DITA OT, and Oxygen XML will be a strong advantage.
